Genesis Chapter 7 The Deluge
1. And
said Yahweh to Noach, "Come you and all your household into the ark,
for you are righteous 6662 before Me in this age 1755.
2. Of all beasts 929 that are clean 2889 you shall take to you by sevens 7651/7651, males 376 and females 802: and from the beasts
that are not clean, by two 8147,
the male and the female.
3. Also of the
birds of the sky by sevens, the male 2145 and the female 5347, to keep alive seed upon the face of
all the land.
4. For after
yet seven days I will cause it
to rain 4305 upon the land forty 705 days and forty nights; and will
destroy 4229 all that subsists3351 that I made upon the face of
the soil."
5. And did Noach that which commanded Yahweh.
6. Noach was six hundred years of age when the deluge 3999 of water was upon the land.
7. And went Noach, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons'
wives with them, into the ark, because of the presence 6440 of the waters of the deluge.
8. From the beasts that were clean, and from the beasts that
were not clean, and from the birds and all that creeps upon the soil,
9. two by two they went to Noach into the ark, male and female,
as commanded Elohiym to Noach.
10. And it was, after seven days, the waters of the deluge were
upon the land.
11. In the six hundredth year of the life of Noach, in the
second 8145 month 2320, the seventeenth 7651/6240 day of the month, the same day, broke open 1234 all the fountains 4599 of the subterranean water supply 8415 abundantly 7227, and the sluices 699 of the sky were opened 6605.
12. And was the rain 1653 upon the land forty days and forty
nights.
13. In the same
day 6106/3117/2088 went Noach, and Shem, and Cham,
and Yepheth, the sons of Noach, the wife of Noach, and the three wives of his
sons with him into the ark;
14. they, and all living by their species, and all beasts by
their species, and all creeping things that creep upon the land by their
species, and all the birds 5775 by their species, all birds 6833, all with wings 3671.
15. And they went to Noach in the ark, two from all flesh that
had the breath 7307 of life 2416.
16. And they went, male and female from all flesh, and came as
that commanded them of Elohiym: and shut
the door 5462 Yahweh behind 1157 them.
17. And was the deluge forty days upon the land; and increased 7235 the waters, and bore up 5375 the ark and lifted 7311 it above the land.
18. And prevailed 1396 the waters, and were increased greatly 3966 upon the land, and went 1980 the ark upon the surface 6440 of the waters.
19. And the waters prevailed exceedingly 3966/3966 upon the land, and covered 3680 over 5921 the high 1364 hills 2022 that were beneath8478 the whole 3605 sky 8064.
20. Fifteen 2568/6240 cubits 520 [22.5 feet] upward prevailed the
waters, and covered were the hills.
21. And died 1478 all flesh that creeps upon the land,
and the birds, and the beasts, and the living
creatures, and all swarming
things 8318 that swarm 8317 upon the land, and all the adams 120.
22. All that had the breath 5397 of the spirit 7307 of life 2416 in their nostrils 639, and all on the dry land 2724 died 4191.
23. And destroyed 4229 was every living thing 3351 that was upon the surface of the soil.

unto beast, unto creeping things, unto birds of the sky,
destroyed from the land: and only 389 Noach
and that with him in the ark survived .
24. And prevailed the waters upon the land one hundred and fifty
days.
Genesis Chapter 8
1. Remembered 2142 Elohiym 430 Noach, and all the living things, and
all the beasts that were with him in the ark: and passed over 5674Elohiym a wind 7307 over the land, and abated 7918 the waters.
2. Shut up 5534 were the springs of the subterranean
water sources and the sluices 699 of the sky, and restrained 3607 was the rain from the sky.
3. Turned back 7725 were the waters from upon the land
going 1980 back 7725
continually: and diminished 2637 were the waters at the end 7097 of a hundred and fifty days.
4. Settled 5117 the ark in month seven, on the
seventeeth day of the month, upon the mountains 2042 of Ararat 7801.
5. And the waters went and decreased 2637 until the tenth 6218 month: in the tenth month on the first
of the month were seen the tops 7218 of the hills 2022.
6. And it was, at the end of forty days, opened Noach the window 2474 of the ark that he had made.
7. And he sent
forth 7971 a raven 6158, which went forth 3318 continually 3318 and returned 7725, until dried up 3001 were the waters from upon the land.
8. Then he sent forth a dove 3123 from him, to see if abated 7043 were the waters from upon the
surface of the soil.
9. But did not find the dove rest 4494 for the sole 3709 of her foot 7272, and she returned to him
to the ark; for the waters were upon the surface of the whole land. He sent
forth his hand, and took her, and brought her to him in the ark.
10. He anxiously
awaited 2342 another seven days afterward, and
again 3254 he sent forth the dove from the ark.
11. And came to him the dove in the evening 6153, and behold, a leaf 5929 of an olive tree 2132 was plucked
off 2965 in her mouth 6310: and knew Noach that
abated were the waters from upon the land.
12. And he waited 3176 another seven days afterward, and
sent forth the dove, and she did not again return to him anymore.
13. And it was, in his six hundreth and first year, in the
first 7223 month on the first 259 of the month, dried up 2717 were the waters from upon the land; and
removed 5493 Noach the covering 4372 of the ark, and looked, and behold,
drying up was the surface of the soil.
14. And in the second month, on the twenty seventh day of the
month, dried was the land.
15. And spoke Elohiym to Noach, saying,
16. "Go forth from the ark, you, and your wife, your
sons, the wives of your sons with you.
17. All the
living that are with you, with all flesh, the birds and the beasts, and all the
creeping things that creep upon the land; go forth with you, and swarm 8317 the land, and be fruitful 6509 and multiply in the land."
18. And went forth Noach, and his sons, and his wife, and the
wives of his sons with him.
19. All living things, all creeping things, and all the
birds, all that creeps upon the land, by their species, went forth from the
ark.
20. And built Noach an altar 4196 to Yahweh; and took from all the
beasts that were clean, and from all the birds that were clean, and sent up5927 burnt sacrifices 5930 on the altar.
21. And smelled 7306 Yahweh a savor 7381 of sweetness 5207, and said Yahweh in His
heart,
"I will not again 3254 curse 7043 anymore 5750 the soil 127 on account of 5668 the adams; for
the devisings 3336 of the mind 3820 of the adams is evil 7451 from their youth 5271: and I will not again smite 5221 all living as I have done.
22. Yet all the
days of the land, seedtime 2233 and harvest 7105, and cold 7120 and heat 2527, summer 7019 and winter 2779, and day 3117 and night 3915 shall not cease 7673."
Genesis Chapter 9 The Covenant With Noach
1.
Blessed Elohiym Noach and his sons, and said to them, "Be fruitful and
multiply, and fill the land.
2. And the fear of you 4172 and the terror of you 2844 shall be upon every living creature
of the land, and upon every bird of the sky, and upon all that creeps on the
soil, and upon all fish of the sea; into your hand they are given.
3. Every creeping thing that lives to
you shall be food 402;
even as the green 3418 herbs 6212 have I given you all things.
4. But 389 flesh with its life 5315, the blood 1818 you shall not eat.
5. Surely 389 the blood of your lives 5315 will require 1875; at the hand 3027 of all living will I require it,
and at the hand of the adam, by the hand of the brother I will require the life
of the adam.
6. Whoso sheds 8210 the blood of the adam, by adam
shall be shed his blood,
because in the image 6754 of Elohiym was made the adam.
7. And you, be fruitful, and multiply; breed abundantly 8317 in the land, and multiply there."
8. Said
Elohiym to Noach, and his sons with him, saying,
9. I, behold, establish 6965 My covenant 1285 with you, and with your
seedline 2233 afterward;
10. and with all creatures that live
that are with you, the birds, the beasts, and of all the living creatures of
the land with you; from all that go forth from the ark, to all living creatures
of the land.
11. And I will
establish My covenant with you; neither shall be cut off 3772 all flesh 1320 any more from waters of the deluge,
and shall not be another deluge to destroy 7843 the land."
12. And said Elohiym, "This is the sign 226 of the covenent that I give between
Me and between you, and between all creatures that live that are with you for
generations 1755 perpetually 5769:
13. My bow 7198 I set 5414 in the clouds 6051, and it shall be
for a sign of the covenant between Me and between the land.
14. And it
shall be, when I bring 6049 a cloud 6051 over the land, that is seen 7200 the bow in the cloud,
15. I will
remember My covenant that is between Me and between you, and between all
creatures that live of all flesh; and shall not become any more the waters a
deluge to destroy all flesh.
16. And shall
be the bow in the cloud; and I will look on it, and remember the covenant
perpetually between Elohiym and between all creatures that live, and all flesh
that is upon the land."
17. And said Elohiym to Noach, "This is the sign of the
covenant that I establish between Me and between all flesh that is upon the
land."
Noach's Drunkenness
18. And it was the sons of Noach that went forth from the ark
were Shem, and Cham, and Yapheth: and Cham, he is the father 1 of K'naan 3667.
19. The three of these are the sons of Noach: and these were
dispersed 5310 in all the land.
20. Began 2490 Noach to be a man 376 of the soil 127, and he planted 5193 a vineyard 3754:
21. and he drank 8354 from the wine 3196, and was drunken 7937; and was uncovered 1540 within his tent 168.
22. And
saw Cham, the father of K'naan, the pudenda 6172 of his father, and told 5046 his two brothers outside 2351.
23.And took Shem and Yepheth a garment 8071 and put it upon both theirshoulders 7926, and walked backwards 322, and covered the nakedness
of their father; and they faced 6440 away 322 and the nakedness of their father they
did not see.
24. And
awoke 3364
Noach from his wine, and knew that which did to him his younger 6996 son.
25. And
said he, "Cursed 779 be K'naan 3667;
a servant 5650 of
servants shall he be to his brothers!"
26.
And said he, "Blessed 1288 be
Yahweh Elohey 430 Shem; and shall be K'naan his servant.
27.
Shall enlarge 6601 Elohiym Yepheth 3315,
he shall dwell 7931 in the tents of Shem; and shall be K'naan a servant to him."
28. And it was Noach after the deluge lived three hundred and fifty years.
29. And were all the days of Noach nine hundred and fifty years:
and he died.
