Genesis Chapter 17
1. And
it was, when Ab'ram was ninety-nine years of age, appeared Yahweh to Ab'ram,
and said to him, "I am El-Shadday 410/7706;
walk before Me, and be you undefiled 8549.
2. I will make 5414 My Covenant between Me and between
you, and will multiply 7235 you exceedingly 3966/3966."
3. And
fell 5307 Ab'ram upon his face: and spoke with
him Elohiym, saying,

"As for Me,
behold, My Covenant is with you, and you shall become the forefather 1 of many 1995 nations 1471.
5. Neither shall be called anymore
your name Ab'ram, but shall be your name Ab'raham 85, for the forefather
of many nations I have made you.
6. I will make you fruitful 6509 extremely 3966/3966, and will make
of you nations 1471,
and kings from you shall come forth.
7. I will establish 6965 My Covenant 1285 between Me and between you,
and between your seedline afterwards in their generations for a Covenant
everlasting 5769,
to be to you Elohiym, and with your seedline afterwards.
8. I will give to you, and to your
seedline afterwards, the land where you are sojourning 4033, all the land of
K'naan, for a possession 272everlasting;
and I will be to them Elohiym."
9. Said
Elohiym to Ab'raham, "You My Covenant shall keep 8104, you, and your
seedline afterwards in their generations.
10. This 2063 is My Covenant, which you
shall keep, between Me and between you, and between your seedline afterwards:
Shall be circumcised 4135 with you all 3605 males 2145.
11. You shall circumcise the flesh 1320 of your foreskins 6190, and it shall be a
sign 226 of the Covenant between Me
and between you.
12. A son 1121 of eight 8083 days 3117 shall be circumcised among
you, all males in their generations, born 3211 in your household, or bought 4736 with your money 3701 from any son of a racial alien 1121/5236, which is not
from the seedline of you 1931.
13. Must be circumcised 4135/4135 those born in your household, or
bought with your money: and shall be My Covenant in your flesh for a Covenant
everlasting.
14. The possessor of a foreskin 6189 male that is not circumcised in the
flesh of his foreskin, shall be
cut off 3772 that person 5315 from his people; My Covenant
he has broken 6565."
15. Said
Elohiym to Ab'raham, "Saray your wife, do not call her name Saray, for
Sarah 8323 is her name."
16. I will bless her, and also give you
from her to you a son, I will bless her, and there shall be nations 1471 from her; kings of people from her shall be."
17. Then
fell Ab'raham upon his face, and laughed 6711,
and said in his heart 3820,
"To one a hundred years of age be born 3205?
And to Sarah, that is ninety years of age bear?"
18. Said
Ab'raham to the Elohiym, "O that Yish'mael might live 2421 before 6440 You!"
19. Said
Elohiym, "Indeed 61Sarah
your wife shall bear to you a son; and you shall call his name Yits'chaq 3327: and I shall
establish My Covenant with him, a Covenant everlasting, and with his seedline
afterwards.
20. And to Yish'mael, I have heard you:
behold, I have blessed him, and make him fruitful 6509, and will multiply 7235 him exceedingly3966/3966;
and twelve princes 5387 he shall beget, and I will
make him a great nation 1471.
21. My Covenant I will establish with
Yits'chaq, that shall bear to you Sarah at this 2088 appointed time 4150 in the year following 312."
22. And
He finished 3615 speaking with him, and went up 5927 Elohiym from upon Ab'raham.
23. And
took Ab'raham Yish'mael his son, and all born in his household, and all bought
with his money, all males of the men of the house of Ab'raham, and circumcised
the flesh of their foreskins that very day, as had spoken with him Elohiym.
24. And
Ab'raham was ninety nine years of age when he circumcised the flesh of his
foreskin.
25.
Yish'mael his son was thirteen years of age, when he was circumcised in the
flesh of his foreskin.
26. In
the same day were circumcised Ab'raham and Yish'mael his son.
27. And
all the men of his household, born in the house, and bought with money, of sons
of racial aliens, were circumcised with him.
Genesis Chapter 18
1.
Appeared to him Yahweh by the Terebinths of Mam're: as he sat in the doorway of
his tent in the heat 2527 of the day.
2. He
lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men stood 5324 by him: and when he saw, he ran to
meet them from the door of his tent, and bowed
himself 7812 to the ground 776,
3. and
he said, " Yahweh, if now 4994 I have found favor 2580 in Your eyes, do not 408 now pass
by 5674 your servant 5650.
4. Take
now a little 4592 water, and wash 7364 your feet 7272, and rest 8172 Yourselves under the tree:
5. and I
will fetch 3947 a morsel 6595 of bread 3899 to sustain 5582 Your hearts 3820; and afterwards
You will
pass on: for this reason You have passed over to Your servant." And they
said, "So do that you have said."

Hastened 4116 Ab'raham into the tent to Sarah,
saying, "Quickly 4116 make three measures 5429 of fine 5560 flour 7058, knead 3888 it, and make cakes 5692!"
7. And
to the herd 1241 ran Ab'raham, and took a calf 1121/1241, tender 7390 and good 2896, and gave it to a lad 5288; and he quickly prepared
it.
8. He
took curds 2529 of milk 2461 and the calf which he had prepared,
and set it before them; and he stood 5975 by under the tree, and they ate.
9.They
said to him, "Where 346 is Sarah your wife?"
And he said, "Behold, in the tent."
10. One
said, "I will surely
return 7725/7725 to you at the time 6256 of reviving 2416; and behold 2009, a son shall have
Sarah your wife." And Sarah heard it in the doorway of the tent, which
was behind him.
11. Now Ab'raham
and Sarah were old 2205,
and come 935 into days 3117, and had ceased 2308 to be 1961 Sarah of the way 734 of women802.
12. And
laughed 6711 Sarah within herself 7130, saying, "After 310 I am worn
out 1086 shall there be for me delight 5730, with my lord 113 being old 2204 also?"
13. Said
Yahweh to Ab'raham, "For what reason did laugh Sarah, saying "Shall I indeed 637 truly 552 bear 3205 when I 589 am old 2204?"
14. Is it too difficult 6381 for Yahweh this thing 1697? At the appointed
time I will return to you, at the time of reviving shall have Sarah a son."
15.
Denied 3584 Sarah, saying, "I did not
laugh 6711." for she
was afraid 3372. And He
said, "No, for you laughed."
(Ab'raham Pleads for S'dom)
16. Rose
up from there the men, and looked 8259 toward the face of S'dom: and Ab'raham
walked with them to send them forth.
17. Said
Yahweh, "Shall hide 3680 I from Ab'raham that which I do;
18. seeing that Ab'raham will surely become 1961/1961 a great nation and mighty 6099, and shall be
blessed by him all the nations of the land?
19. For I know him, for the sake that
he will command his sons and daughters and his household afterwards, and will
keep 8104 the way734 of Yahweh, and do righteousness 6666 and justice 4941, so that may bring
Yahweh upon Ab'raham that which He spoke upon him."
20. Said
Yahweh, "The outcry 2201 of S'dom and Amorah is great 7227, and their sin 2403 is very 3966 heavy 3513:
21. I will go down 3381 now, and see if by the
outcry 6818 that has come to Me they have done
completely 3617,
and if not, I will know."
22.
Turned 6437 from there the men, and walked towards
S'dom: but Ab'raham yet stood before Yahweh.
23. And drew near 5066 Ab'raham, and said, "Will You
also 637 sweep away 5595 the righteous 6662 with the wicked 7563?
24.
Perhaps 194 there are 3246 fifty righteous 6662 within the city: will You also 637 sweep away 5595 and not forgive 5375 the place 4725 for the sake 4616 of fifty of the righteous that are
there 7130?
25. Far be it 2486 from You to do this thing, to put to death 4191 the righteous with the wicked 7563, and that should be the
righteous as the wicked, far be it from You: shall the Judge 8199 of the land not do justice 4941?"
26. Said
Yahweh, "If 518 I find 4672 in S'dom fifty righteous
within the city, I will forgive 5375 all the place 4725 for their sakes 5668."
27.
Answered 6030 Ab'raham and said, "Behold now, I
have taken upon me 2974 to speak to Yahweh, and I am but dust 6083 and ashes 665:
28.
Perhaps 194 there shall lack 2637 five of the fifty righteous: will you
destroy 7843 for five the whole city?" And He
said, "I will not destroy if I find there forty and five."
29. And
he continued 3254 again 5750 to speak to Him, saying, "Perhaps
there shall be found there forty." And He said, "I will not do it
for the sake of forty."
30. And
he said, "Let not now be kindled
anger 2734 in Yahweh, and I shall speak: perhaps
there shall be found there thirty." And He said, "I will not do it
if I find there thirty."
31. And
he said, "Behold now, I have taken upon myself to speak to Yahweh: perhaps
there shall be found there twenty." And He said, "I will not
destroy for the sake of twenty."
32. And
he said, "Let not now be kindled anger in Yahweh, and I will speak only 389 this time 6471, perhaps shall be found
there ten." And He said, "I will not destroy for the sake of ten."
33. And
went away Yahweh, as that He was finished 3615 with speaking to Ab'raham: and
Ab'raham returned to his place.
