Genesis Chapter 10

 1. These are the successive generations 8435 of the sons of Noach; Shem, Cham, and Yepheth: and were born to them sons after the deluge.

2. The sons of Yepheth; Gomer 1586, and Magog 4031, and Maday 4074, and Yawan 3120, and Tubal 8422, and Meshech 4902, and Tiyras8494.

3. The sons of Gomer; Ash'kanaz 813, and Riyphath 7384, and Togar'mah 8425.

4. The sons of Yawan; Eliyshah 473, and Tarshiysh 8659, and Kittiym 3779, and Dodaniym 1721.

5. By these 428 were separated 6504 the islands 339 of the nations 1471 in their lands 776;

each one 776 after their language 3956, by their clans 4940, in their nations.

6. The sons of Cham; Kush 3568, and Mits'rayim 4714, and Put 6316, and K'naan 3667.

7. The sons of Kush; S'ba 5434, and Chawiylah 2341, and Sabta 5454, and Ramah 7484, and Sabtecha 5455; and the sons of Ramah, Sheba7614 and Dedan 1719.

8. And Kush begot Nim'rod 5248; he began 2490 to be mighty 1368 in the land.

9. He was a mighty hunter 6718 before 6440 Yahweh; upon which is said, "Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before Yahweh."

10. It was the beginning 7225 of his kingdom 4467 in Babel 894, and Erech 751, and Akkad I, and Kal'neh 3641, in the land of Shin'ar 8152.

11. From that land went forth Ashshur 804, and built Niyn'weh 5210, and R'choboth 7344 the city, and Kalach 3625,

12. and Resen 7449 between Niyn'weh and between Kalach: that is a great city.

13. And Mits'rayim begat the Ludiym 3866 and the Anamiym 6047, and the L'habiym 3853, and the Naph'tuchiym 5320,

14. and the Path'rusiym 6625, and the Kasluchiym 3695, that came forth from there the P'lish'tiym 6430, and the Kaph'toriym 3732.

15. And K'naan begat Tsiydon 6241his firstborn 1060, and Cheth 2845;

16. and the Yebusiy 2983, and the Emoriy 567, and the Gir'gashiy 1622,

17. and the Chiwwiy 2340, and the Ar'qiy 6208, and the Siyniy 5513,

18. and the Ar'wadiy 721, and the Ts' mariy 6786, and the Chamathiy 2577. And afterward 310 were separated 6504 the clans 4940 of the K'naaniy 3669.

19. And it was that the borders 1366 of the K'naaniy were from Tsiydon as you come into G'rarah 1642, unto Azzah 5804 as you go to S'domah5467, and Amorah 6017, and Ad'mah 126, and Ts'boyim 6636 unto Lashah 3962.

20. These are the sons of Cham, by their clans, by their language 3956, by their lands, and by their nations 1471.

21. And Shem, he begat also, and he was the forefather of all the sons of Eber 5677, brother of Yepheth the elder 1419.

22. And the sons of Shem; Eylam 5867, and Ashshur 804, and Ar'pach'shad 775, and Lud 3865, and Aram 758.

23. And the sons of Aram; Uts 5780, and Chul 2343, and Gether 1666, and Mash 4851.

24. And Ar'pach'shad begat Shelach 7974, and Shelach begat Eber 5677.

25. And to Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg 6389; because in his days was divided 6385 the land; and the name of his brother was Yoq'tan 3355.

26. And Yoq'tan begat Al'modad 486, and Shaleph 8026, and Chatsar'maweth 2700, and Yarath 3392,

27. and Hadoram 1913, and Uzal 187, and Diq'lah 1853,

28. and Obal 5745, and Abiymael 39, and Sh'ba 7614,

29. and Ophir 211, and Chawiylah 2341, and Obab 3103: all these the sons of Yoq'tan.

30. And were their dwellings 4186 from Mesha 4852, as you go to Sepharah 5611, a mountain of the east.

31. These are the sons of Shem, by their clans, by their language, by their lands, by their nations.

32. These are the clans of the sons of Noach, by their successive generations in their nations; and by these were separated the nations in the land after the deluge.

Genesis Chapter 11 Tower of Babel

1. Was all the land of one 259 language 8193 and of one speech 1697.

2. And it was, as they journeyed 5265 from the east 6924, that they found a plain 1237 in the land of Shinar 8152; and they dwelled there.

3. And said they one to another 7453, "Grant it 3051, that we may make 3835 brick 3843, and burn 8313 them thoroughly 8316." And it was that they had brick for stone 68, and bitumen 2564 for mortar 2563.

4. And they said, "Grant it, that we build 1129 a city 5892, and a tower 4026 whose top 7218 is in the sky 8064, and make for ourselves a name8034, lest 6435 we be scattered 6327 upon the face of all the land."

5. And came down 3381 Yahweh to see the city and the tower, that had built the sons of the adams.

 6. Said Yahweh, "Behold 2005, the people are one, and all one language 8193; and this they begin to do: and now not anything is withheld1219 from them, that they devise 2161 to do.

7. Come now 3051, descend 3381, and confound 1101 there their language, that may not hear 8085 and comprehend one man the language of another 7453."

8. So scattered 6327 Yahweh them from there upon the face of all the land, and they ceased 2308 building 1129 the city.

9. Upon this is called the name Babel 894; because there confounded 1101 Yahweh the language of all the land: and from there scattered them Yahweh upon the face of all the land.

Descendants of Shem - Reference 1 Chron. 1:24-27

10. This is the genealogy 8435 of Shem: Shem was a hundred years of age, and begat Ar'pach'shad two years after the deluge.

11. Lived 2421 Shem after he begat Ar'pach'shad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

12. Ar'pach'shad lived 2425 thirty five years, and begat Shelach:

13. And lived Ar'pach'shad after he begat Shelach four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

14. And Shelach lived thirty years, and begat Eber:

15. And lived Shelach after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

16. And lived Eber thirty four years, and begat Peleg:

17. And lived Eber after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.

18. And lived Peleg thirty years, and begat R'u 7466:

19. And lived Peleg after he begat R'u two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.

20. And lived R'u thirty two years, and begat S'rug 8286:

21. And lived R'u after he begat S'rug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

22. And lived S'rug thirty years, and begat Nachor 5152:

23. And lived S'rug two hundred years after he begat Nachor, and begat sons and daughters.

24. And lived Nachor twenty nine years, and begat Terach 8646:

25. And lived Nachor a hundred and nineteen years after he begat Terach, and begat sons and daughters.

26. And lived Terach seventy years, and begat Abram 87, Nachor, and Haran 2039.

Descendants of Terach

27. This is the genealogy 8435 of Terach: Terach begat Abram, Nachor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot 3876.

28. And died Haran before the face of Terach his father, in the land of his birth 4138, in Ur 218 of the Kas'diym 3778.

29. And took Abram and Nachor wives: the name of the wife of Abram was Saray 8297, and the name of the wife of Nachor, was Mil'kah 4435, the daughter of Haran, father of Mil'kah, and the father of Yis'kah 3252.

30. And was Saray barren 6135, she did not give birth.
